KAYAR: Smooth rubber flooring with natural fibres

Kayar is an exclusive range of rubber flooring, created by Artigo with design by Sottsass Associati to offer an aesthetic and functional solution suitable for various types of premises such as hospitals, schools, nurseries, offices, shops and many more besides.

Featuring a smooth surface, the Kayar range stands out due to the inclusion of coir (coconut fibre) in the compound; this particular choice adds a unique visual effect to the flooring’s strength and durability characteristics. Available in a range of sober, contemporary colours, this flooring offers great customisation possibilities in order to adapt to the aesthetics of any space.

Kayar is available with Silky Matt (PRO²) finish, for a low-glare satin surface, greater resistance to staining and chemicals, and ease of cleaning and maintenance.

The GAIA version from the Kayar range also represents a significant step forward in terms of environmental sustainability, as it uses environmentally sustainable materials such as bio-attributed rubber and rice-husk derived silica. This choice significantly reduces the environmental impact, helping contribute to a more sustainable future.
