The Deutsches Museum presents the past, present and future of technology and the natural sciences. Experience knowledge in 20 permanent exhibitions. The museum, founded in 1903, moved to its current location on Munich’s Museum Island in 1925. With around 28,000 exhibits from the fields of technology and natural sciences, it is the largest of its kind in the world and is visited by 1.5 million people every year. The collection building, which covers around 70,000 m², is complemented by a library and forum building.
