This crèche project is in perfect harmony with its environment. The volumes of the living spaces, the adaptation of light levels according to the time of year, the extensive planting of outdoor spaces, the thermal comfort whatever the season, the colours and materials. Everything has been thought out to facilitate the development of the children and the well-being of the teams working there. As the Ruelle-sur-Touvre crèche has a senior citizens’ residence next door, communal areas to facilitate intergenerational exchanges complete this project, which is resolutely committed to a low-carbon approach. This project is a pilot for exemplary sustainable architecture. It boasts E4C2 energy and carbon performance levels, the most ambitious in the E+C- programme (Positive Energy and Carbon Reduction Building).
